Peter Grant

Peter Grant is a nature writer, essayist and blogger. He worked with Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service for nearly 25 years, during which his deep interest in nature writing saw him co-found the Wildcare Tasmania Nature Writing Prize. He published Habitat Garden in 2003, and has contributed essays and reviews to Island, Australian Book Review, Leatherwood, Wilderness NZ and Forty South Tasmania. He has lived in the wooded foothills of kunanyi/Mt Wellington since 1980, and writes a quarterly column about that bush in Forty South.
